hello brides. I was wondering if anyone knows if I could have my intimate musician (we're getting a guitar player) play any song I want?

I was thinking that I wanted my DF and I to do our first dance to the song "woman" by john lennon or some other beatles song ..

has anyone done this for their own wedding?

I've heard of other disbrides having a musician, but I don't know if they were intimate brides or not.
I had a guitarist at my ceremony and reception (not on Disney property). We wanted a Spanish Guitarist, so my husband did a search on the interenet for local musicians. I figure, you could do the same thing for the central Florida area. The musician we found was willing to play any song that we chose, but we just had him play his own music. I highly recommend getting a musician! I thought it added something really special to the day!

Hey, luna, I know this is waaaay late in responding, but I'm thumbing through older posts and ran across yours. My coordinator told me that the violinist we're having could play whatever we wanted, as long as we brought the sheet music for it. We opted instead to bring a boom box and play the songs on CD (one of them is a Prince song, which we thought would be a little hard to come across via violin; lol!).

Thank you! I think that his music set a really nice mood that fit in well with the Mission where we got married. Plus...I heard from my family that he, and his band stayed and played music to the VERY end of the evening...even as people were cleaning up! He just kept on playing!
