Can anyone recommend good, legal download sites? I've tried iTunes which hasn't got what I'm looking for so I want to try others but they've got to be legal and not full of spyware etc.

I am no expert, and I don't know if just because you pay for the music that makes it legal? However, although I generally use I-Tunes, it is obviously lacking in some areas. In my seach for particular songs, I have come across http://www.mp3search.ru/. I just charged $20 to a credit card (Nationwide, so no charge!), and the music is a lot cheaper and a lot more varied than I-Tunes.

I have used it for a couple of months now ($20 is still going strong!) and it has been absolutely fine. Don't know how you can tell if it is legal or not though? It was the only place I could find the song I was looking for.

If it isn't above board, I wouln't be so happy about using it - I am one of those who believe that in the main, the future of good music depends on there still being money in it!
