I think people should get into Rex Goudie, I like his music, though his newer cd is mostly about breakups. Though, if you don't live in Canada, it's not as easy to get music from his album Look Closer as it is to get Under The Lights.

I love most music. I can probably find at least one song I like off of any CD. If I had to pick three bands or singers to listen to for the rest of my life, those would probably be Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash and The Beach Boys. Newer stuff that I like are Rilo Kiley, Damien Rice, Fiona Apple, Ben Folds, Rufus Wainwright, Pearl Jam. I don't really have a favorite genre.

I picked up the album What's Going On by Marvin Gaye recently. It's faaaantastic. I cried, lol.

Same. My favorite type of music is Country. Or in other words, Country owns! I'm a huge fan of Rascal Flatts. Don't like Faith Hill that much. Music is my life. Really. I want to be a radio DJ for US99.5 (my country music station).

I used to say that, but I've found some rap that I can really enjoy. I'm sure there's something out there that you would like, but you just aren't hearing it because its not main stream.

Probably. I've had friends introduce me to music that I never thought I'd enjoy.

if you like music that has meaning, try eminem-stan. Its about an obsessive fan writing to Eminem. Its a tad creepy towards the end, but it has a good story line. It really keeps you on the edge of your seat.

If you like more musical rap, try Gangsta Paradise (I forgot the name of the artist.) It tells about how bad gang life really is.

I looked up Gangsta Paradise on youtube, and watched the video. It's by Coolio, I believe. It sounds like Weird Al's Amish Paradise. I like both songs.

haha same here, with the exception of lil jon. and thats only because i thinks its funny how some one can make a song where all they really say is "WHAT!" "YEAH!" and "OK!" it makes me giggle

That's a good song, though I don't particularly like Dido.
I really enjoy Eminem's more serious music because it shows a better side of him. As far as I'm concerned he was two people living inside of him.

Some of Fort Minor's stuff is okay. Yeah sure Where'd You Go wasn't the best thing ever but I really like the song Petrify.


But I think people shouldn't say they don't like a song until they've heard it. It annoys me when an annoying artist comes up with a good song, and my friends won't even listen to it because of who it's by.
