Upon arrival at MCO Murray Hill was right on time, our driver was friendly and we were pleased. Our trip to SOG was uneventful and the driver was very good. We are a party of 7, two of which are car seats and 1 suitcase per person plus a double stroller and 1 carryon per person. We were picked up in a super large van, all was good.
Our pickup was another story completely. Our driver arrived in a 7 passenger SUV (not even a large one, actually pretty small to still have seven seats. and almost zero baggage capacity. The driver pulls up, sees our luggage and says "it figures". He tells us MH is always pulling this stunt. Asks me what I paid for, I said a van. He tells me he told MH that his vehicle was not big enough for us and our luggage and they did not care. So, we pile in. Everyone had a bag in their laps and the carseats barely fit in the vehicle not to mention I could not even get into a seatbelt because we were so crammed in there. I was NOT happy. If I pay an extra $10 for a VAN, then I expect a VAN to be what comes to retrieve me.
1/2 way to the airport my cell phone rings and it's John from Murray Hill. He asks me where I am. I say, 1/2 way to the airport in a VERY small vehicle and I am NOT happy. He says, but your driver is waiting for you at your hotel. I say, no, my driver is sitting in front of me taking me to the airport. At that point the drivers phone rings and its someone else from Murray hill calling to cancel our pickup (only about 1/2 hour late). They had decided to send a van but forgot to tell the first driver. He acts like this is all my fault and tells me I should have waited for the correct vehicle. I told him that I was at my hotel at 3pm and a driver pulls up, announces himself as being from Murray Hill and we didn't feel we had time to argue, we made do. But we were not happy about paying extra for a van that we did not get. He did not say anything and just hung up.
So, we arrived at the airport, scrunched, crushed and uncomfortable but in one piece.
We will not be using MH again and I suggest that if you do you are VERY clear with them about the number of passengers and amount of luggage. If we had all had the maximum amount of bags allowed, we would not have been able to fit and would likely have missed our flight.
