Murphy Beds & Air Mattresses

2 different but somewhat related questions-

Do the 1 bedroom DVC units have the small 1 person murphy bed in addition to the pull-out sofa?

And is it true that Aulani has a limited number of air mattresses available by request? I read this online recently and wanted to confirm.

My 2 kids will likely not want to share a bed so I'm figuring out sleeping arrangements. The 11 year old is small and would be fine with either of these options. We have both a 1 bedroom DVC room for part of the trip and also a standard studio hotel room for the other portion.

Yes, the 1BR DVC rooms at Aulani have the fold down single bed under the TV! They are a decent size. I can't answer about the air mattresses though.

I would not count on an air mattress being available. That sounds like something that a previous guest might have left behind.

According to what I read, it said the front desk has them but it's a very limited number. But like I said, I have no idea personally.

If we can't get one, we'll still make it work.

I haven't heard of air mattresses being available to borrow. I wouldn't rely on using one. I would personally order one to the resort or stop at Target on the way over from the airport.

Just curious how long will you be in the studio? It doesn't look like they have enough space to have the couch pulled out an air mattress.

4 nights and we requested 2 queens (its not a DVC studio but a hotel room). I don't know how big the air mattress is tbh.

We are thinking of getting a single air mattress too as got a teen boy and girl who definitely will not share a hotel bed or sofa bed. Do disney charge for packages to be delivered?

I don't know, but if you are renting a car I would just hit up a Target or something and pick one up there. But, they do apparently have some air mattresses to loan out which prompted my question. I have no idea how many though.

WDW charges about $6 per package.
