Hello,

Have any ADULTS out there slept in the "wall pull-down bed" (Murphy bed) of one of the Royal Suites of the Disney Magic (or her sister ship, the Disney Wonder)?

If so, please share your experience!

I am asking because I'm considering booking a Royal Suite on the Disney Magic for a group of 5 family members. We are all ADULTS, and one of us would wind up having to sleep on the Murphy bed. I'm just trying to get an idea of what that would be like.

If you've had this experience, please include which ship you were on (Magic or Wonder). If you can remember, it would also be helpful if you could specify which cabin you were in-- either by cabin number, or by the suite name ("Walt" or "Roy").

Was the "wall pull-down bed" (Murphy bed) generally comfortable? Please share any comments about this bed.

Did it seem too close for comfort to the Master Bedroom?

Also, I read that this particular bed is a "double." Can you confirm that?

Thank you in advance for any comments.

I can't speak specifically to the Murphy bed in the Royal Suites, but the Murphy bed in other rooms is a single size bed. Regular bed, it's as comfortable as most other beds in hotels and onboard ships.

Thank you for your reply, PrincessShmoo!

Can’t speak for Royal Suites but... We had a murphy bed in one of our cabins. My 6ft2 husband wanted to nap on it just for fun. He said he was surprised by how comfortable it was.
