I didnt' see anyone report or mention this but I was at hollywood for a few today and muppets 3d was closed and the cast member said it would reopen next week. I actually forgot the exact day she said..

Not really sure what they are doing but you can see the streets are coming down finally and I wonder if they broke something or need to reroute power :) The fountain was also off.

Side note: there is no longer shade in that corner with the streets gone.. :(

I wonder if they'll replace the CRT TVs in the preshow holding room; they're starting to fail and it was noticeably difficult to see them last trip...

I'm just glad it's still there. They took the Muppetvision show out of DCA. I'm already really bitter about losing Maelstrom to Frozen; I don't need to have them take all my Muppets away.

Is it set to stay or is there any talks of it being removed? Im kind of out of the loop at the moment :rolleyes1

Maybe the theater was jealous of all the other things closed in MGM? Everybody is jealous of their cubicle mate when they go on vacation..

Based on the construction pics I saw for the streets coming down, they needed to reroute some power for the building after demo.

That's what I saw too and taking down that much I'm surprised they didn't have to reroute power to Sci-fi also.

lets just close down the whole park while were at it, i mean considering it pretty much already is :surfweb:

3 attractions and some meet and greets isn't the whole park. Those attractions just took up a lot of space. Disney won't close down a park while doing work, it just wouldn't work logistically. DHS also never had a lot of attractions to begin with.

i was being facetious

Maybe they are actually updating the attraction!!! With all the money that make you would think they would do something to make it better. You don't have the numbers people going to M3D anymore. But you still have the lame per show. No place to sit ! So I can understand not wanting to change the movie. But you can change the pre show make it Disney fun. It's like we should go to the studios, even though half of the place is closed. Because in two to three years it's going to be much better.
They did not want to add to it, but wanted to remove things so they did not have to pay to run things LMA.

You are not going to see seats in the pre show. Where else in WDW are there seats in a pre show?

It would be nice to update the pre show area though, it's in a bit of disrepair.
