So DHS will have -

Star Wars Land - new (includes echo lake)?
Toy Story Land - new (pixar studios ends)?
Muppet Courtyard - newish
Animation Courtyard - What will this area consist of?
Sunset Boulevard - Tower, RCR, Beast and Fantasmic? New name?

Animation courtyard is an area slated for future redevelopment a possible phase 4 if all goes well.
From what I've heard other than the ToT rumor sunset boulevard will stay relatively the same.

I hope so! I love the boulevard the way it is! Its the most Hollywood Studios things about Hollywood Studios.

I'm glad they're planning on adding some continuity to the park. Its been such a mish mash of rides and attractions in certain areas for so long now

Unfortunately everything I've heard Except for Jim Hill of course is that carsland is not happening in DHS.

Also based on the tweet before that it seems he reads the boards as he tweeted what I said about the location of Star Wars land.

I think the Carsland rumor has gone back and forth so many times, I'm not sure Disney even knows what they are doing. They need to bring in something BIG that will help round out the park because Star Wars is going to be overwhelming. Carsland would fit, it can be reproduced with minimal design costs.

Well, I've heard many say that SWL was going outside the park for a long time, so it's not new news .... but the BIGGER bloggers just wouldn't get their heads around it, so talk just stopped. I've said since announced when talking to others that SWL made ZERO sense in the Streets of America area, it only made sense outside the existing park boundary. AND Disney promised a 14 acre EXPANSION. That says outside the park. Again, the major bloggers kept drawing it inside the park with their color boxes.

PS We all love to think that the DIS boards or WDWMagic are the Cat's Meow but there is way more info happening on twitter and elsewhere. I get way more information on stuff like this from places other than DIS.

If they are going to start building this in the next couple year then they have to know what they are doing by now. Personally I'd much rather see something other than carsland. Leave that as a DCA exclusive draw.

The info I posted comes from a good source. Also many have just said echo lake area or LMA area. This was the first I've seen specifically state CM parking and Indiana jones. Disney can use the word expansion but that doesn't mean necessarily outside the park. You could expand into what is currently CM only or backstage areas and that would be considered expansion.

I said that because the guy who posted on Twitter posted what I said about CM parking and Indiana jones relatively quickly after I had posted it here on the dis. I'm also always looking at info and things on Twitter but I will say the vast majority of rumors or leaks don't come from there at least in my experience.

I really hope that, if there is a Phase 4, it's something unique to Florida that DL does not have. I get that it's likely easier to just copy and paste the design and theme from Anaheim to Orlando, but I also find it a bit lazy and creatively deprived.

I know one of the things being considered for phase 4 was Indiana jones but a lot of that falls on how the next movie will do.

I like Cars Land a lot but I would also like to see something unique for each park. That said, Disney is at a point that they're spending so much money here and there that anything of Cars Land scale honestly feels like too much with the current load of projects world wide, let alone at WDW. But... when you think of the cost to clone rather than start from scratch and now that Disney has evidence that Cars Land transformed DCA, that might get the finance guys all hot and bothered. Cloning Cars Land could be a huge hit and big savings in money over developing something new. I see both sides.

It's a completely different and much better experience. It is not like how Spiderman/Transformers are so similar. There is incredible theming and a great story. The buildup of the whole land going into radiator springs is wonderful. It rivals Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley IMO...

And even Jim Hill has backed off the full Carsland rumor recently, saying maybe just parts of Carsland.

Carsland itself if a whole themed area, not just a ride. The main ride, Radiator Springs Racers, uses the Test Track ride system but is IMHO a much better ride experience.

I heard that as well. Maybe it's just my personal tastes, but it's not something I would thoroughly enjoy.

Understandable, but part of me is curious if Disney really has confidence in the Muppet brand. The latest TV show has sunk like a rock in terms of viewers and ratings, after starting out successful.

The fact the ratings were so strong out the gate suggests that the brand is still quite strong. The quality of the show on the other hand...
