Monday 12th March

Wake up around 8am and the sun is shining :sunny: :cool1: , blue skies and looks like it will last all day. Dp decides he and Graeme(bil) will go to the Auchan at the Val D'Europe to get some snacks and drinks for the kids for during the day. We have fantasyland Breakfast booked for 9.45am and we want to be at the park for around 9.15am to go on some rides before we go in.

Get the kids up and ready waiting for DP and Graeme to return. By 9.15, they are still not back and I am getting a bit mad  . Finally they arrive and we rush to get the shuttle bus to the park. Mad dash to Fantasyland and in for breakfast just about 9.55am. The crowds are waiting to get let into the castle and we quickly rush past. Breakfast is in Belle a Note and is absolutely gorgeous, fresh fruit salad, cereals, croissants, yogurts, chocolate croissants, juice, tea, coffee and a buffet to boost.

After breakfast we head off to small world, the kids love it. The we buy the 2 youngest autograph books and pens. Off we go on our hunt for characters. Next up is the snow white ride and only a 10 minute wait. Then off to Peter Pan for some FP for later. The other rides in Fantasyland are quite busy, so we decide to go to Adventureland for POTC. pirate:

On we go with no queuing time at all. :yay: . Out we come and who is standing there but Jack Sparrow himself pirate: . The kids queue to get his autograph and pictures. He moves off after only signing 1 of the books, so we walk on and hope to get him another time. Who do we walk into round the corner, but Jack himself. This time he has more time for autographs and pictures and all the kids get 1 and are well pleased. :) He really is a showoff.

We walk round to Indiana Jones and sil, bil, Rebekah and Dp all go on that. I don't have the head or stomach for fast rides, so I watch the 4 younger kids. There is about a 10 minute for this, but the kids don't mind.

Next stop is Frontierland and the Riverboat. No waiting again and the boat has just come in. :dance3: We were going to try Phantom Manor, but the queue is too big and the kids want to go on Buzz Lightyear.
So off we go to:

Discoveryland. Waiting time is about 15 minutes, but the kids all love the ride and the men are having a competition to see who can score the most. I am sure we will be back on this ride a few more times before we go home.:rotfl2:
Next ride has to be Star Tours. We do a Baby switch with Dp and sil. The kids can go on twice, which is good, but only Rebekah has a second go.

In between moving from land to land the kids manage to get autographs and photos of Daisy duck, pinnochio, geppeto, tigger.

we go back to Fantasyland for the Peter Pan FP we had. Glad we had the FP as this seems to be a popular ride and is very busy with about a 40 minute wait. Small world again and again. this is the best ride for the youngest kids and they can't get enough of it. Pick up some t-shirts for my nephews, Rebekah, Lucie and Logan, ::MickeyMo for the boys and ::MinnieMo for the girls.

3.45pm, time to get into position for the parade. the kids all get a great view. Right on Main Street. I am videoing it. Dp has had to take Logan to the toilet and he misses most of the parade. But as it it was a princess parade, he is not too bothered. The kids are screaming for the Genie from Alladin and he comes over and pats their heads. Great parade once again and the music is stuck in my head.

We had taken crepes, drinks and juice with us, so everyone has been snacking on these throughout the day.

6pm, by now and time for us ladies to shop. Buy my mum a snow white photo holder(she is snow white daft and has just about everything with her on it).

For dinner we go to Val D'Europe. Sil and I go to the Hippopotamus restaurant and have a delicous steak, chips and salad with a glass of wine to wash it down. The men take the kids to McDonalds and let us have peace to eat :woohoo:

We all head to Auchan for some more shopping. Around 9pm we head back to the hotel. Bath the kids and go to sil and bil room for a few drinks and a chat about our day.

Sounds like another great day you had:) even better that the blokes took the children whilst you and you sil could dine and relax.

Can't wait to hear the rest.

:cool1: Hi Maureen, sounds like you had a great day, makes me really wish we could go tomorrow!
I would just like to ask how much the train tickets are to get to the shopping centre? I think we will probably do the same as you and buy snacks from there to bring into the park, especially drinks as i hear they are very expensive in the park!
And also i hope you don't mind me asking, did you notice if there many vegetarian or halal restaurants around the shopping centre? I'd be grateful if you could let me know as it will really help me to plan our trip better and set a budget!
Keep having lots of fun, i know you will!!:goodvibes :wizard:
