It looks like a wide-spread and coordinated attack, but not a large scale (like 9/11)

and I wonder if these attacks are aimed at places where Christians are routinely found? Or if these attacks are a whole new assult for a new reason?

It's so sad to read stories such as these. Terrorists are monsters.

These attacks are a real tragedy and my thoughts are with all those affected by them. India has experienced Hindu-Muslim violence for centuries and this is really nothing new. Most of the terrorist attacks are by Muslim extremists coordinated out of Pakistan.

On a personal note, I am taking my mother to India in March. I'm sure that this latest act of violence will worry her. India has had several terrorist attacks over the past year and mom is already nervous.

I just saw this on cnn. So terrifying and tragic. I don't understand how people can have so much hatred that they slaughter innocent people.

The areas being attacked are areas where Westerners tend to be. These attacks appear to be aimed at Americans and Europeans, specifically.
