January 17th (part 3): #YOLOdisney-ing it up

When I last left off like a century ago, we had just finished up watching Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Partyyyy/Parade.

We headed back over to Everest to check out the wait time and it was only about 10-20 minutes, so WHY NOT.

After we went on once, WE DECIDED TO GO BACK ON AGAIN. WHY NOT.

The park was closing at 5 which is really sad and it was like 4:59 and the line was still open. So we went on again. CAUSE WHY NOT.

Yes, 5 times on Everest in one day, folks. #YOLOdisney

And I decided to do something that I have never done before on EE.

The #deathgrip.

I have done it before on Big Thunder, Small World, etc, but never on EE. I wrapped dat camera around my head and arms like ten times cause Safe D begins with moi.

I WAS NERVOUS.

Way too lazy to go back and edit this right now but LKJDLKHSADKLHKLASD.

And then the rest of the pictures were a blurry mess but whatevah.

The park was closed so we had to make our way to the exit. We took a bus back to BLT so Meg could change cause it was getting chillier by the minute.

After we went back up to the room and such, we took a bus to DTD cause FOR SOME RIDICULOUS REASON the parks don’t have a bus to DTD. Oh wait. AK did for #limitedtimemagic. LIVIN IT UP HERE, PEOPLE.

At least we got to look at the monorail while we waited.

We met up with MM at DTD and headed straight to Earl. I wasn’t really hungry but I knew if I didn’t eat then then I would feel sick later. So I got my usual, the Earl Club.

After we ate, it was time to drop some cash. Well Meg did anyways…. I bought a few things but Meg basically went nuts but #YOLOdisney.

I bought a really awesome Chip and Dale/Haunted Mansion pin that I basically had to have, my beloved mickey crackers, and idk what else.

We also bought—well Meg bought, THANK YOU—matching(ish) bracelets that they carve at Land o’ Christmas (the name is escaping moi right now).

I don’t even remember what else we did at DTD. I think I got some pixie dust. Who knows. That night is such a blur to moi for many reasons BUT IT WAS SO MUCH FUN.

We took a bus back to the Contemporary and Meg and moi snapchated each other the whole way cause that is how we roll.

I called Mum when we got to CR and she thought I was drunk. Good times, good times….

The three of us got a brownie at Contempo and my pic of it came out horrendous but whatever. Aka too lazy to change my settings.

Then we followed around an ECV cause WHY NOT. I truly don’t even know you guys. I was basically drunk. #YOLOdisney

We went back up to the room and Meg had to pack ): ):

But then we went back over to CR to take some pics from the 11th floor cause that is as high as you can go as a “regular guest.” 12th and up is club level and Cali Grill.

BUT THAT VIEW.

For some reason the best monorail evah was just stopped but I wasn’t complaining. And we found out that there are numbers on top of the monorail. That is your Fun Fact of the day, you’re welcome.

Obsessed.

We spent awhile shooting, and then we walked on back to BLT.

January 18th: STELLLLLLAAA! and

I don’t even remember what time we got up. Meg was already ready and THANK GOD I woke up before that ridiculous wake up call.

We packed last minute things and headed down to airline check in. The CM put Meg’s suitcase on first and it said 62 pounds….

MM was like “MEGAN WHAT DID YOU BUY?!?!”

The CM actually just had his foot on the scale LOLOL.

After MM and Meg checked their bags, we took a bus to DTD.

Meg and MM had a little photo shoot and if you would like to see those pics, you will have to wait about 10 years for Meg to post that chapter.

We went into WoD and bought a few things and then met up with Mum by Raglan Road. We all walked on down to Bongos to check in for our ADR.

We really didn’t need an ADR because it was pretty dead but whatever.

We were seated towards the back by the windows.

I got a virgin pina colada to start off because duh they are amazing.

We all started off with a plate of plantain chips which eventually turned into three plates cause #YOLOdisney.

We also got some other appetizer that was really good but I truly can't remember the name of it. And I don’t feel like looking it up cause lazy.

We all got sandwiches for our entrée and Meg and moi got the same thing. It was a chicken sandwich and we were both disappointed. Meg got it before and loved it and it sounded really good. It was really dry and did not have the sauce that the menu mentioned. I probably wouldn’t get it again.

After lunch, we looked around in a few more stores.

We walked back over to the Marketplace and started talking to a DVC guy about points. And he was like “I can make an appointment right now for you guys at the DVC preview center to discuss points.” WHY NOT. It’s not like MM and Meg had a flight to catch in a few hours or anything…..

So we drove over to SSR and met with a guide about points. Meg was looking at adding on but also wanted to wait for Poly and we just have no points cause we use them all. #livinginFLprobs

Our guide was Stella.

And I am cracking up laughing as I type this because of reasons that I will go into in a second.

Seriously, this was probably the funniest thing ever.

First off, Stella thought that Meg and moi knew each other since like birth and found it very confusing as to why we both have the same name. So we had to explain to her that no, we have known each other for like two years and we met on Instagram and all. AND WE DIDN’T CATFISH EACH OTHER!

Then we decided that Stella should be our new guide because MM and Meg have some weird dude name Bruce or whatever that is located in Cali and ours retired and we never got a new one. So now both of our guides are Stella. We had to talk to a manager for all of two seconds to do this and MM made a deal with him that she would call every single month and leave Stella a message that just says “STELLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAA.” I LITERALLY CANT.

And of course MM was dropping the F bomb and THE WHOLE THING WAS JUST SO FUNNY OH MY GOD.

AND WE GOT FREE ICE CREAM SO YAY.

And Meg is 9th on Stella’s Poly list so YAHOOO!

MM and Meg missed the Tragical Express but #YOLOdisney

We piled back into the car and drove over to CR to get MM and Meg’s carryons and then Mum drove them to the airport. After stopping at 7 Eleven or something for Pepsi and cigarettes. I can’t.

Once we got to MCO, moi and Meg basically bawled our eyes out. There were legit tears and I cried all the way back to DTD cause MY TWIN WAS GOING BACK TO NY.

Now, not to be really sappy or anything, but I was really going to miss Meg. The first day was kinda awkward because moi meeting “new” people is just very weird and I am shy anyways but afterwards, it was literally perfect. Like, our Animal Kingdom day and that night was so much fun.
I don’t have many friends who necessarily get my Disney obsession and Meg coming down was amazing and I felt like I could be with someone who gets me. It was perfection and I was really sad for a few days after because I had to go back to school and crap and be with the people who don’t really get moi. It just makes moi thankful that I have a friend like Meg.
And the whole year between trips thing was not going to work for moi. So I called up Meg the next day and we planned our trip for June which is going to be so WICKED AWESOME that I might die. No really. There are going to be a ridiculous amount of feels that I might just drop dead. From the feels, and the heat of course. I JUST CANT WAIT.

Anways….

Mum and moi went back to DTD to shop around some more and we got a care package for MM and Meg.

We also went into Basin and got a few things.

And then we drove over to SSR and got a snack. Cause why not.

January 25th (part 1): That time I almost died at Disney

It was a MK day/photography day.

I am taking photography at school and I had my first assignment so of course we went to Disney cause duh. My next assignment is actually portraits and that means CHARACTERS but that will come eventually…

My assignment was to take pictures of old objects, ovals and circles, animals, patterns, architecture, and I think that is it. I am going to post my best shots from the day cause I took a lot and some need editing and I really don’t feel like doing that right now. I have edited a lot of these pictures at school on photoshop and I don’t have them with moi soooo.

I ain’t doin’ that again.

First stop: Main St.

Then I needed a snack.

So we went to the Confectionary and I got my mickey crackers cause I don’t even know why. I mean, there are ten thousand cupcakes and stuff but no. I am obsessed with these things, guys. Like it is ridiculous. So we chilled on Main St for awhile and I basically ate the whole package of mickey crackers. It was heavenly.

We made our way to Frontierland next where I got a lot of great shots for old objects.

And now onto Frontierland…

And then we went to Tom Sawyer’s Island LOLOLOL.

We have never been over there before and I figured I might be able to get some shots of like old crap, which I did. But I felt like I was going to die on the boat over. It is made of like plywood and I thought we were going to tip over. They stick like 50 people on one boat raft thingy and they make you all squish together. Like, no thanks.

We made it over in one piece and explored the island, which was a total waste of moi’s time but whatever.

After all of that excitement, we made our way back to Frontierland on the boat raft thingy. Oh, it was so much fun.

I needed another snack break so we went on over to Gaston’s.

I drank my brew in Storybook Circus and I made a few FP+ selections, which only took about 10 years.

Our first FP was in like 5 minutes so we went on over to BTMR.

January 25th (part 2): In which everyone is stoned

Next we went to watch Dream Along With Mickey. I still hadn’t seen the full show and when I tried to see it before, I almost passed out because of the heat. SOOOoooo, since it wasn’t too hot out, we finally got to see it. We were a little farther back from the stage though so I had people’s heads and crap in the way so that is why some of these pictures are majorly cropped.

Minnie was stoned.

After DAWM was over and done with, we checked into the Plaza for our ADR. Of course we had idiots that cut in front of us when we were checking in, but anyways…

We were seated in about 10 minutes towards the front of the restaurant.

Mary Jane was our waitress. She was fine. Nothin’ special.

Of course, I got my usual. The Plaza Club.

Mum just got a burger.

For dessert, we split the Plaza Sundae, sans the pineapple and strawberry sauce. So it was just a hot fudge sundae. Whatever.

After we paid and such, we went on the TTA.

Y U SO PRETTY.

Then we went on Buzz. The FP system basically crashed so they weren’t even checking to see who actually had a FP. Good job, Disney.

I did so great.

I am attractive.

Then we went on over to Phillharmagic and I was laughing so hard for some reason and I couldn’t tell you that reason because I take great TR notes.

We are so cute.

We had a FP for Pirates afterwards since the LINE IS ALWAYS SO LONG THAT IS GETS RIDICULOUS, but of course, it was down due to technical problems. WHAT ELSE IS NEW.

So we decided to just head out.

Spotted the best sign ever as we made our way through Adventureland though.
