Multiple Ticket Upgrades?

Is it possible to upgrade my MYW ticket from say 5 days, then to 6, then to 7 or 8? Not sure I'll actually do this, just want to know my options.

i'm not sure why you would want to upgrade multiple times as there would be no real benefit to it. WDW base the upgrade on what was originally paid for the ticket. So if you are planing on adding more days I would go straight to the 8 day to begin with.

It will likely work like this. My wife wants to go for 5 days for sure. She will likely want to upgrade for 1 or 2 days. She may want to upgrade further depending on a number of factors. Weather, crowds, our hotel amenities , shopping selection and prices. Might seem odd but I can definitely see a scenario where she upgrades and then doesn't use all days, or conversely upgrades and then wants more days.

Like I said before that may not be doable as they base the upgrade on the original ticket price regardless of the upgrades put on it. It would actually save you money to get an 8 day ticket with no expiry on it rather then trying to do multiple upgrades as the ticket price actually goes down the more days you add. Based on the scenario you gave you would spend 10 dollars adding the first extra day and then 20 dollars to add another after that, as they would read the base ticket as being a 5 day first.
