Multiple Rooms - One Check-In?

Hello everyone!

I currently have 4 rooms booked for a family reunion in May. (Actually 5, but 4 at BLT and 1 at OKW - have waitlisted in hopes to get them all at BLT)

I have been told by one CM @ MS that I "could" check into all the rooms, myself, then was told by another that I "couldn't."

I have done it, myself, at OKW in the past - on more than one occasion, but I understand that things can change.

I've read some recent accounts where other members have been successful, though.

Does anyone have any recent experience with this, that they could share?

..I'm wondering if it would help for me to contact the resort, directly, prior to check-in - maybe ask for a manager?

...Especially with the check-in at the Contemporary for BLT - and my guests all arriving at different times - I'd really like to take care of this for them! I had envisioned getting the room keys and parking passes, and just greeting them at the front door of BLT with all of their "stuff" - to make it as painless as possible.

We're only there for one night - no one will be on the dining plan - and no one will be purchasing park passes to be placed on the room keys. I'd even be willing to put my CC on all the rooms.

I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts on the situation....

TIA!

My understanding is that your name would have to be on each reservation and that technically, Disney isn't suppose to let you be on multiple reservations. If they had a emergency or evacuation, they want to know for sure which room you are really assigned.

What about processing all of the families check ins on line for them. That way, all they have to do is show an ID and pick up their KTTW cards.

I wonder if you could do on-line check in for them? As for the CC...You do NOT need to have a CC on file with any DVC stay, so no need to do that. We never put a CC on file, and it's so easy to just leave in the morning, because we also make no charges to our room.

you might want to check to see if setting it up as a grande gathering might help. otherwise I agree that on line check in might be you best bet, then everyone can just pick up their packets.

:goodvibesI always check in and get all my room keys at the same time. Last Oct(2009) I checked in and got my BWV GV and 2 stidios at the same time. and in past years I did the same thing. I.ve never had a problem since we joined in 2002. One year I got all 5 studios at one times. Now remember it's just the room keys till the rooms are cleaned and I call back to get the numbers.

My others guests were coming in on later flights.
