Hello! We are planning a trip for 2020 and have a few questions I'm hoping someone can help us with! First, we will have three rooms all on different reservations. Can we link the reservations so that we can hopefully get rooms close to each other? If we are all "friends" in MDE can one of us make fastpasses for all three groups or will one person in each room have to make them for their group? (We want to have separate reservations as opposed to just booking all on one so that each family can manage their own reservation.)

Also, currently there are no promotions for our dates since it is so far away. I know we can book now and then add a promotion if one becomes available (or just cancel and rebook). If we book now and pay the deposits but not pay for the trip in full, would our package price be locked in the event of a price increase on tickets or dining? Or is there a possibility that our package price would go up since we had not made the final payments yet? (I hope what I'm asking makes sense...) We are in the very beginning stages of planning and are trying to get an idea of what the max price would be.

Thank you for your help! We've been to WDW before but never with more than one room at a time!

1) Yes, you can call whomever you made the reservations through (TA or WDW) and let them know you are all traveling together so they can link the reservations. At that point, I would also make the request that your rooms be close to each other (it's only a request). They can place that request on all of the reservations.

2) If you are all linked as Friends and Family on your MDE accounts and you all have valid ticket media linked to the individual guest profiles, one person can make all the FP+ reservations for the entire group.

3) Once you put down a deposit, your price is locked in. If you make any changes - change dates, ticket type, resorts/room categories or switch to a promo - you are then subject to current pricing. If you know you are going, it's wise to make reservations now to lock in current pricing. Then, when a promo is released, you can re-shop to see if it offers any benefit to you.

Each guest will need to add "traveling with" and the other reservation numbers to their reservation. That way the room assigner will know you are all traveling together.

Only one of the lead guests needs to call to do this. Once they are linked, any CM who pulls up one reservation will see all of them.

Adding the note is the way to link them. Otherwise, there is no linking of reservations at the same time with different guests in different rooms.

Of course there is - you call, request a "travel-with" and then the CM adds the info to each reservation. I have traveled with extended family and friends in multiple rooms many times and I am always the only person who calls to link the reservations. It does not take multiple people or multiple calls to do this. And when you call, subsequently, to update or otherwise check the reservation, if the CM pulls up one reservation, yes, they can see all of the travel-with info. I'm not sure how you've handled your reservations, but there is no need for the lead guest on each reservation to make this call.
