All of the dates I needed when I first made my reservations, so I have 2 reservation numbers for the same type of room at the same resort. Is there a way to have these linked so we can stay in the same room throughout? TIA

You can prevent having to change rooms by contacting MS and having it merge the reservations into one or link the two reservations. Whether merger or linking occurs depends on use years and which resort points were used for the reservations, e.g., if you used two different use years, the reservations will be linked; if you used the same use year but different resort points and made both reservations within the 7 month window, the reservations can be merged into one..

I knew about linking but the stuff about why and merging is new info for me -Thanks

I was on hold awhile, but member services was able to merge the reservations. Thank you for your help!

When I waitlisted the first night and last night of my upcoming trip, as the nights came through from the waitlist, MS automatically combined them with the existing reservation leaving me with one reservation number.
