 As my 60 day nears, it's got me thinking about reservation limitations and contact info. I would really appreciate any errors corrected and blank info filled in. I did not see a Superthread on the subject. :goodvibes

1. PS for Blue Bayou can be made at 60 days buy calling 714 781- DINE. This goes for all regular restaurant dining.

2. WoC picnic reservations can be made 30 days prior online.

3. WoC dining can be made 60 days out at 714 781-DINE.

4. Fantastic! dessert seating can be made???? I have read one month and 30 days which aren't always the same. And I don't think you call the DINE line? :confused3

5. Fresh candy canes?? Some sort of lottery system but no clue how/when/where to get entered into Lottery. :upsidedow

I can answer this one. You have to be in Disneyland on the day the candy canes are being made. You head straight to Candy Palace on Main Street and get in line to get a ticket to come back later and be allowed to purchase two of the candy canes being made that day. I have never wanted to purchase them, but I enjoy watching the canes being made. The day after Thanksgiving last year, I stood and watched the candy canes being made and the people waiting in the line first thing in the morning. All the tickets for the day's candy canes were distributed by 8:15 AM.

On Fantasmic!, I have 10 years of experience. Its 1 month. May 1st for June 1st, April 30th for May 31st.... 714-781-4400.

Candy Canes aren't really a lottery. You need to find out what day they are making them, show up at opening, get in line, and they will pass out tickets. They know how many they will be making, and there are just enough tickets for the batch. If you are in line early enough to get a ticket (I believe they limit you to 2 candy canes) they tell you what time to come back (was 11am 2 years ago) to pick yours up. Then those who don't show back up to get theirs, theirs will be sold to the first people who ask after a certain time.

:thumbsup2 So if we wanted them for Nov 29 we'd make them Oct 29? Thank you for the number.

How do you find out what day they are making them? I would guess they'd let out the info a few days prior? :confused3

How do you know what day they are making them? Do you just luck out on the right day or is there someone to call? :thanks:

I found out last year on these boards....someone posted when the dates were announced. I was at the park pretty early in the morning, and all the tickets are gone. I'm not sure how early is necessary, but if I was really intent on getting one I would line up at the gates pretty early. Suggestions, anyone? Also, is there a particular turnstyle you should line up at?

For the candy canes, the candy kitchen would announce the dates on their hotline (and that phone number is in the Superthread, Page 1, Post #3, under the candy cane heading), shortly after the holiday season begins. Last year the dates were not released until a few days after the season began. Someone posted the dates on the previous Superthread when they saw them at the Candy Palace, but also the candy kitchen hotline should have updated their hotline within a few days after 11/14.

There's a Disney candy line. This used to be the number: 714-781-0112. Don't know if it's still active since I haven't tried it for a long time.

:worship: I will try it!

Ahh, candy kitchen...I knew there was a name. :thumbsup2 Thanks!

WoC info anyone? I've booked the dinner and picnic but swear I purge all info unless immediately needed.

From the Disneyland site:

Advance pre-purchase of picnics is available from one (1) to 30 days before show date. Sorry, same day pre-orders are not accepted.

I am not CERTAIN about the Blue Bayou because Pirates is down for rehab (and the restaurant is too, I believe)...and as far as I know sometimes Disney will not offer reservations in advance for restaurants that are closed at the time. I don't think anyone has checked yet since we're still more than 2 months (!) away from the scheduled reopening of the Blue Bayou.

Excellent point! I remember this being an issue with another restaurant a few years back. Looks like I'll have to call daily once my 60 day arrives.

From the DL site for Fantasmic!:

Premium Viewing
Reserve your prime seat and tempting dessert sampler with this delightful premium viewing option! Take in the show from an elevated section near the anchor by Café Orleans and the French Market. Call the reservation line at (714) 781-4565 for ticket prices and to reserve your seat up to 30 days before the show. Ticket does not include regular park admission. Reserved seating is first come, first served, so get there early!

Park opening. If they are having magic mornings and you can get in, then that is the time. Basically, be the first in the park. Its limited to like the first 40 people, it is THAT small.

They are are that popular! Watching them make them is mesmerizing. :cloud9:

I don't remember ever seeing a cross necklace (please let me know if you find one) with Mickey, or anything else on it, but now you have me curious.

As a Jew, I'm pretty sure I won't be needing a Mickey on a cross but will now be on the look out for sure. :thumbsup2  I will let you know.

The most I have seen are a few Hanukkah Mickey items.
