Multiple Questions concerning Contemporary Marina

Hi,

I'm looking to make this trip a little extra special for my family by including some things other than just going to the parks. I'm specifically looking into the Marina activities and Parasailing or the Personal watercraft or the ski boat rental. Here are my questions.

1. Can you park at the Contemporary for these activities if you are not an onsite guest? Do they charge you for parking? Would an option be to park at Disney Springs and then ride the bus over to the Contemporary?

2. What is the difference between the Personal Watercraft Guided Tour and the 1 hour personal watercraft rental. And is the charge per vehicle or per person? Are these things hard to drive?

3. Which is more fun, the parasailing or watercraft rental or the ski boat boarding/tubing?(for a person who has done none of these).

4. If you don't know how to swim, are any of these recommended? And if not, can the person who doesn't know how to swim ride in the boat while the others do the activities?

1a. Yes.
1b. No.
1c. You could, but it's not necessary.

BTW, there are marinas and rentals at all of the MK area resorts.

2. The guided tour is fun and goes all around the lakes, and you get some Disney information, but the best part is just driving the boats. They are easy to drive, stable and lots of fun.
3. I did the parasailing and the watercraft tour and then just the water craft rental. The parasailing is exciting but I liked driving the little boats - they are like wide (and slow 35 mph max) jet boat skis. I haven't done the ski boat. I did tubing in the Caribbean and thought that was great too.
4. I don't think you have to know how to swim. Everything requires a life jacket.

I want to try the Sea Raycers this time.

BC/YC also has a good selection of rentals
