Multiple package park tickets and upgrading to an AP

What if a kid was included in a 4 day room+ticket+dining package in December 2016 and a 6 day FD package in December 2017. If I wanted to upgrade that kid's tickets to an AP so they could also visit the parks in February 2017, what would be the best way to do so?

What if a kid was included in a 4 day room+ticket+dining package in December 2016 and a 6 day FD package in December 2017. If I wanted to upgrade that kid's tickets to an AP so they could also visit the parks in February 2017, what would be the best way to do so?

An AP is only valid for one year, so the only tickets that can be upgraded to an AP valid throughout the Feb. 2017 trip would have to be from a trip within the previous 365 days.
