multiple home resorts and reservation window

hi everyone.

we haven't heard back about rofr at SSR yet and we're already thinking about adding on! this stuff is addictive!

anyway, let's say we own at SSR (200 pts) but add on at BLT (100 pts).

if we want to book at BLT 11 months out, can we book a stay that "costs" over 100 points or are we limited to booking at a home resort at the 11 month window to how many points at the resort you actually have?

if i wanted to stay at BLT and book 11 months out for a stay that costs "265 points" can i do that?

just trying to get a handle on all this! thank you!

No at 11 months, you can only book 100 pts at BLT. You can only book your home resort with those specific resort points 11 months out. We have the same issue at times.

The 11 month window applies only to the points at that resort. However, through banking and borrowing, you could have 300 BLT points available at the 11 month window every three years with a 100 point contract. If you want to stay at BLT more often, then you'd need more points for the 11 month window.

For instance, buy a contract with 2010 points, bank those points...no BLT stay during your 2010 use year. During your 2011 use year, use banked 2010 points, current 2011 points, and borrowed 2012 points. Then bank the 2013 points, travel in 2014, borrow 2015, and repeat.
