Multiple FASSPASSES

My guide book (which is several years old) says that Disney stipulates you must use current FASSPASS ticket or wait two hours before getting another one for another attraction. We never did try to get more than one at a time, but will try to cover more ground this trip and could see it might be useful - especially at MGM where there are specific show times. Anyone know the in's and out's of FP?

If you get your next fastpass at the time you are allowed to but before you use the previous fastpass, you will have more than one. Early in the day the time for next fastpass can be quite close to the time you just got a fastpass.

At Disney Studios, you can get a Lights, Motors fastpass something like 10 minutes before or after getting a fastpass for something else, even though the time for next fastpass as printed has not come yet. A few other shows may have unadvertised similarly quick fastpass distribution times but I don't know which ones.

The "OR wait two hours" part is still true during busy times but during slack times that part could be as little as "OR wait 45 minutes".

Ok I did this last year at MGM last year. When u get a fast pass time for example from 9:00-10:00, as soon as the time changes to 9:00, u r elgible to get a new fast pass.
So here's what I did last year. We were one of the earlybirds 2 get into MGM. We rushed over to Rockin Rollercoaster, got a fast pass, fast pass time said 8:30-9:30 the current time was 8:15. We got on the ride and when we got out the time was 8:30 so went to the tower of terror got ANOTHER SET of fastpasses, went BACK to Rockin Rollercoaster with the fastpasses, got off and then got another set of fastpasses for tower of terror, used the current time fastpasses, Then whe we got off it was again time to use the other fastpasses.

It's rare that u can overlap, it mostly depends on the number of people getting fast passes for the particular ride and time of day. It's more likely u can get them to overlap early in the morning. Also want to mention we went on a extra magic hour day so the general public hadn't been admitted in yet.

Hope u were able 2 understand that mess? ha!

OK, it is starting to make sense. Are you saying that on the FP it will tell me what time I can get my next one? Or are you saying that the starting time (time I can ride on FP) of the one I got is when I can get another one?

And they had FP going during EMH? During the old early entry days we never found FP machines working until the park's regular opening hours. That is great!

the time it says on your fastpass that u are eligible to go on that particular ride, u can also get a new set of fastpasses. So it say return at 9:30-10:30 to ride the tower of terror. At 9:30 u can go and get new fastpasses while u r still holding the other ones.

There are actually 3 times written on your Fastpass.

The large numbers are the time of your entry to the Attraction.

Underneath that it will give you the exact time after which you can obtain another Fastpasss.

Underneat that, at the bottom corner, it will give you the time the current Fastpass was issued.

Best wishes.

The Lights! Motor! Action! Fastpasses are disconnected from the rest of the system, meaning you can get a fastpass for it anytime and it won't count against you getting a fastpass anywhere esle and you can get it even if your window hasn't opened yet after getting an earlier fastpass, does that make sense?
