1. We have 2 DVC reservations as we were on a wait list. We will be at the same resort. So we will check out then back in the same day. Will we need 2 sets of bands?

2. I entered our ticket info and it shows up, how do I know if they are linked to the bands? If I need 2 sets of bands will the tickets work on both?

3. Friends are traveling with us and have the same situation. Since we are the DVC owners do we have to do their MDE? Or do they create an account and do their own?

Thanks!

I doubt you will need two sets of bands. My DSis was told the band she used with me at the BCV will work for her at the BWV in December. I checked out of BCV today and my MB opens my door at SSR.

I'm starting to think that each guest gets their own unique electronic door "access code" that follows them from resort to resort. The same thing happened to us across 2 different resorts - the MB worked on the door of the resort that wasn't in the MB test.

I may have a simliar issue. A couple of weeks ago I found out I had to change my dates for November due to a work conference (second time it was changed!). So I booked BWV for 5 nights with an AP rate (no points rooms available). Then last week I saw nights 3 to 5 available on the website so I booked it. Changed the waitlist to nights 1 & 2. Yesterday I saw night 2, so I booked it, so different reservation #. Changed the waitlist to night 1 only. I haven't changed the AP reservation yet in case night 1 comes through. So right now I have 3 reservations for 5 nights. I didn't link the DVC reservations to MDE because I don't want to mess up my FP+ selections.

Disney will send you two sets of bands. You can use them interchangeably.

Your tickets are linked to your MDE profile (as are MagicBands). You can have multiple MagicBands assigned to you and all will have access to the same benefits and entitlements.

If they already have their own MDE account(s), use the invite function under Family & Friends to connect with them. Once you connect with them, you can make shared plans for the entire group. It's probably better to do it this way in case they travel to WDW later on their own.

If they don't have their own MDE account and they don't want to create one, add them to your Family & Friends list as a managed profile.
