Multiple Allergies

Hello,

Is there a way to get ingredient lists from all of the snack and quick service restaurants before entering the resort? I have multiple food allergies and it will be a real pain if I have to ask to see the ingredients of every item I could possibly try since I know most will not work for me. So I would like to have some idea of things I could possibly eat at certain places before I even get to WDW. I know once I am there, I will have to double check but it wouldn't take near as long.

Thanks!

They don't publish them online since ingredients can change at anytime. I don't know what your allergies are but most people report being able to find something to eat.

Great, Thanks! My main allergies are wheat, corn, oats, rye. Others I can easily spot in things or as ingredients, such as watermelon. A big problem, is when things are labeled gluten free...a lot of the substitute grains, I'm also allergic too.

At every qs tell them you have an allergy and ask to speak with the manager. They will have the book of ingredients that you can use to make your selections. Then they will oversee the preparation of your meal. Be aware that your food will take longer than others to make.

Thanks Everyone! I rarely eat out, so it's a bit nerve racking thinking of having to eat out for every meal. I so desperately want to finally see Disney World that I'm willing to try!

Plan extra time though. My husband has multiple allergies too and especially at QS, he seemed to need an extra 15-20 minutes or so to get his food. It was great that they were careful, but it was good we didn't have any tight FP+.

They used to have an "Allergy Binder." You could ask for it, and it will list every item on the menu and every ingredient for each item. I am pretty sure they still have them.

They aren't published because ingredients change.

I have 7 allergies and Disney have always been amazing handling my meals. I've never gone hungry at either table or counter service. At counter service they have a binder and there is always a manager you can speak to. Table service they will send our a chef. As someone said, allow extra time at table service as sometimes you have to wait for a chef to be available to come and speak with you. If you eat at a buffet, a chef will come out and walk you through the buffet and show you what is safe for you to eat.

Thanks! Would the snack stands also have a binder?

Ds is allergic to eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame and dairy and always eats like a king, we do normally do table service for the variety. I think allergy mouse has allergy menus. If you have something out of the top 8 they have you talk to a chef.

Yes, the snack stands should also have the binder. You simply ask and they'll give you the folder to look at. Please note though that the CM's at these carts cannot give you information about what is safe for you. You must make your own choice from the information in the binder. Most of the food from the carts is prepackaged or made elsewhere and off site.
