Multipass advance booking vs day off

So when booking Mutlipass reservations on advance purchase, how does that affect day of booking? Do I have to go through all three of my advance reservations before I can book more the day I am in the park? Or if I spread them out over that day on the advance reservations can I still book them day of at earlier times before advance ones? Does that make sense?

An example is we would like to do Tiana's later in the day so it is warmer to dry off, but I don't want that to limit day of reservations to after that ride.

You just need to use one of the rides you booked, then you will be able to book another one.

It's a rolling 3 -- you can have as many as 3 rides planned, when you use one make another. You cannot pre-schedule 3 for late in the day and then day-of book more in the morning. You have to use one to make another.
