Hello. June of next year there will be 4 generations heading to WDW. I have always booked my trips/dining myself. One of the families want to use a travel agent. Is there anyway we can book some of our dining reservations together? I really don't know how to make this less stressful on everyone but most of us would like to eat at least meal a day together.

Any tips to make this easier to plan? How can we book dining together?

Dining reservations can be made regardless of resort reservations, even without a reservation. Just make the reservation for the total number of people who will be dining.

Enjoy your vacation!

Maybe decide on what park you want to be in each day. That way it will be easier to hang out together when you want to. As the previous poster said, you can book dining together - so pick one meal a day to eat together.

Even though it may sound weird to those of us that love to ride rides, sometimes the older generation is perfectly happy to go from ride to ride with the kids and just sit and wait. My Dad does this (of course he also wanders off on his scooter at times too). He likes to see the kids all excited and hear about the ride, or watch for them if it is Splash Mountain, etc.

I'm the planner for our 2020 trip which is 3 generations, and 3 different component groups.

So far the demand is one meal a day, but not everyone will have the same ticket entitlements so there needs to be a variation between park meals and non park meals.

I would designate ONE person to book all the group meals.

Here are the dining questions I sent to my crew to think about over this year:

"over the next 13 months think about whether you'd like characters or no characters. And if you want characters, what characters do you want?

Are there picky eaters or light eaters?

Are we aiming for group breakfast or group dinner? Downside to breakfast is that it takes away from park time. But if you want characters outside of a park, they're usually only at breakfast. "

Yeah I have problems...
