December 10: This morning Family #2 was moving from All-Star Sports to BWI. My family and Family #3 decided to go to Epcot and meet Family #2 at MK around 3.
We walked over to Epcot and meandered around the countries for a while. On the way to FW the character bus stopped at WS plaza, so we decided to stop and see them. Ds loved this! He got his pic with Chip n Dale, Mickey, Mr. Smee, Pinnochio and Geppetto. He wouldn't have a thing to do with King Louie, though!
Next we went to the Living Seas. Ds and the 18 mo loved looking at the fish! After that we stopped for a snack then went to Innoventions. (The dh's NEEDED to do the home theater thing!
)
We had to go to Norway one more time before we left for MK! I really think this is ds's new favorite thing.
We got over to MK a little before 3 and met the rest of our group. What perfect timing! We got a great spot for the parade; and there were no crowds at all. After the parade we took the kids to do Aladdin (maybe a 5 min. wait) then walked around to the Haunted Mansion (maybe a 5 min. wait here too!) This was ds's first trip to the HM, so I was a little nervous! He did great though. He kept saying how it was all pretend and funny. However, they did stop the ride while we were on it, and he didn't care much for that!
After HM we headed over to the castle for our 4:45 ps. Ds fell asleep in his chair while we were waiting for our dinner. It was so cute! We got some great pics of him sitting there sleeping. Luckily, he woke up when his dinner got there! When we finished eating we got our bracelets, then headed out to see the 6:00 fireworks.
We were herded over to Tommorow Land with the rest of the people staying in the park until party time. We did the Speedway, Buzz and Space Mountain until party time. As soon as the party started we headed over to the castle to stake out our paraded spot (I like to get a really good spot! LOL)
After the parade we went to Fantasy Land and did everthing there except Snow White. We also saw the fireworks here. By now our kids were getting really tired and cranky, so we decided to head back to our rooms.
I think we all had a good time at MVMCP; but I don't feel like we got to do as much as last year (when it was just our family). I guess it really is a little more difficult to travel with a big group!
