Multi-day park passes

I am going to be spending 4 days at Tokyo Disney this May and had planned on buying the 4 day park pass. Since I couldn't find this info on TD's website, I thought I'd ask here:

Do I need to use the pass 4 days in a row, or can I go two days, tour around Tokyo, and then use the other 2 days on my pass?

I believe you have to use the passes 4 days in a row. 1st two days are either Disneyland or Disneysea and the 3rd and 4th days you can park hop. Hope this helps.
