Multi-ADR's at Same Time?

DD & I plan to have lunch at the castle. DH is not interested, and he wants to eat at Tony's while we do that. He may or may not meet a friend there.

If I make an ADR for DD & me at the castle, can I also make him an ADR for the same time at Tony's at our 180-day mark? I know the system stops you if the times are too close, but what about when the whole party isn't on the ADR? (so it'd be 2 for CRT and then either 1 or 2 people at Tony's at the same time)

If it won't work online, maybe it would work if I'd call?

If it won't work at all, maybe then he can hope for a walk-up at Tony's?

I would call for something like that just to be sure.

I noticed that reservation booking has changed a little from last year (Sept. 2012) in that you list out the names of the individuals that will be in your party. This might be so that you can split up into separate places. Worth a try!

Just make the second reservation under a separate account. We have our nanny with us during our trip and there are always a few times she has the kids for a meal while we're dining elsewhere for an adult evening. I make most of our reservations on my Disney account which has all of our reservation information but my wife also has an account which we use to make those additional reservations.

I know you'd be able to do it with a call and explaining why (or in fact not needing to explain if you don't tie it to your other reservations) but I find it just a lot easier to use the second account.

yeah the computer system won't let you make 2 at the same time so either use a different account of call in.

More importantly you might want to convince your hubby to so somewhere else besides Tony's yuk

We do each have our own account on the WDW website, but wouldn't we both have to input our resort reservation # to confirm that we're onsite guests?

Don't need to be an on-site guest to make ADR at 180 days.

I currently have a reservation for 2 at Kouzinna and 2 at Boma 15 minutes apart that I made online. Our party is splitting up that night for dinner. Before I had to change our dates for free dining I had these reservations at the exact same time, but I made them over the phone.

You can book 2 reservations for any meal within the same time period (not 2 hours in between) under the same name, linked to the same room reservation if you book one using the online system & one using the app. I found this out by accident b/c DH wanted me to change one when we were talking about our upcoming trip in the car & the system did not ask me to cancel the existing reservation before booking the new dinner reservation which was 1/2 hour apart. When I viewed our upcoming dining reservations I saw both online & on the app.

Me too . I had reservations for two places within 15 minutes of each other BUT mine were done online . Must have been a glitch. This has happened twice now.

Book the one requiring a cc hold/payment online first. Then, book the one that doesn't require a cc hold on the app. You can book multiple reservations on the phone app at the same time if it they are places which don't require a cc.
