I only have ownership at OKW. But if I bought add-on of 25 points to AKV will I be able to book what I want at 11 months at AKV or am I only aloud to book 25 points worth at 11months then need to wait till 7 months to book the rest? I hope this makes sense. Thank you!!!!

It makes sense. You would only be allowed an 11 month booking priority for the 25 points at AKV. You can't combine the 25 points with your other contract for an overall 11 month booking advantage. At 7 months you can use them any way you want.

No, you would not be able to combine points at different resorts to use at the 11-month window.

However, by banking, borrowing and using current year points, your 25 AKV points could be 75 AKV every three years.

Did you look at the AKV point charts before doing your add on? When AKV started selling last year, we studied the point charts and added on 69 points there, because we knew it would give us the size of accommodations we wanted every 3rd year. That way we knew we could take advantage of the 11 month booking window at least every 3rd year. Now we ARE still going to try to occationally use our OKW points at AKV at the 7 month window, but we will always book at OKW at the 11 month window first and then attempt to change it at 7 months.

Now that you said this I have a new questio that you maybe able to answer. If I book a week at OKW at 11 month window then I want to book day by day for AKV do I have to have enough points for both or do they put the AKV on hold until he week is approved going day by day. You have to have the points available (borrowed counts too) to make a reservation. They can cancel each night of the first reservation if the other room you want is available to free up points to make it. It would be a good idea before you start doing that though to ask MS how the time frame looks for you to make a reservation. That way you won't cancel a night and find the next night not available (which could happen anyway).

It's safer to wait until the end to book the whole thing if you don't have the current year points to carry two reservations at once.
