Mulitple Contracts question

Say for example:
We have VWL 202 points and can book that resort 11 months out.
We are looking for BLT 50 points.
Same use year on both contracts

Can I then book BLT using all 252 points 11 months out?

No. You can only book at 11 months with the points that are for that resort.

at 11 months out, you would have 202 VWL pts for booking VWL and 50 BLT pts for use for booking BLT - just as if you didn't have the other contract.

at 7 months out, you would have 252 pts to book whatever is available.

but you cannot use VWL pts to jump in front of BLT owners at 11 months out or BLT pts to jump in front of VWL owners. no way around it.

what you can do is use the BLT contract by itself - and bank and borrow BLT pts to get up to 150 BLT pts every three years for a BLT stay...which is what some people do when they have multiple resorts.

If you want to book BLT 11 months out you need enough BLT points to pay for that reservation. They can be BLT points that you own (current, banked and/or borrowed), and/or BLT points you had transferred into your account from a BLT owner. Just being an owner at BLT doesn't give you the 11-month booking priority, having enough BLT points in your account does.

In fact, you don't even have to be an owner there. I don't own BLT but could book there 11 months out if I had a BLT owner transfer enough points into my account. I could then use those points to book BLT 11 months out.
