Mulch Sweat and Shears final performance Oct 10th

Man, first the Osborne lights and now this all in one day? I wonder what they'll get rid of next??

This is extremely disappointing, as is a lot of decisions Disney seems to be making lately. I understand they need to expand HS and need to close areas/attractions to do that, but all at once seems to be overkill.

Don't worry, I'm sure they will be replaced by something. probably a few girls in costume singing let it go. That is all you need to make a park successful nowadays. (At least according to Disney management. ) There's a reason my annual pass won't be renewed

Aw man !!

Was bad enough that didn't even share the stage for July 4th !!

Really enjoyed them ! Especially during last years Frozen Fun

Just got back from a trip to the World and stopped twice to watch enjoyable but different shows!

It seems they are definitely clearing out in preparation for these new lands. Is this any indication that work may start sooner rather than later???

Also how many more attractions are waiting for the chop? With so many rumours and speculation floating around it is difficult to see what is staying at Hollywood Studios other than Sunset Blvd!

So sad. My daughter was picked from the audience to participate with them last Christmas Day. It made her day! At least I got a fantastic video that we'll enjoy for years to come. Thanks for the great times and memories, we will miss you!

I remember watching their show for a while, they seemed good

I always loved seeing them perform. It will not be the same without them. I wish they gave more notice to the closing rather than it being just a month away. :\

It seems so illogical to get rid of entertainment when so much is closing down. You can move entertainers around and keep some people entertained in a park where the offerings are slim nowadays. I just wonder what will be next as a previous poster stated.

I've been one of the biggest "oh there's still plenty to do at DHS" glass-half-fullers, but this one has really knocked the wind out of my sails. I accidentally caught the last few minutes of a MS&S set this year and was eagerly looking forward to seeing a whole performance next trip. I'm with PP, why do you have to close entertainment like this when it can easily be moved?

They really need to get a move on with these expansions.

You take everything off the walls, remove the fixtures

We are doing ap for the first time this dec. we are now wondering if we should? We dont care for animal kingdom, especially since all of the construction. Now hollywood is going to be a disaster/half day park. Have to think this one thru.

Disney announced they will break ground on the project next year.
As for attractions on the chopping block it's all rumors but LMA and Muppets are rumored to go

The would be INSANE to close LMA or even Muppets at this time. With precious little to do in that park now, those are two crowd eaters, particularly LMA. I am of the opinion that eventually LMA should go (it's lame) but now is not the time.

My husband, who only tolerates WDW for me, loved Mulch, Swear, and Shears when we went last year. He actually made me look at the times guide to find when and where they would be playing next so we could listen to them again. We have a trip planned for Jan. and he was really looking forward to hearing them play again. He is not going to be happy when I tell him they won't be there.

I had heard similar, in fact a cast member mentioned about LMA going! Apparently something to do with contract or whatever was not continued. Disneyland Paris had the original so whether this is licensed through them. Fact that Disney despite having a large share, do not own any of the Disney Parks away from America, means they may have to pay to keep it.

This has also been my thought and it would not leave that many attractions, almost half the park would be shut, so then it is a question of how much time would be needed at the park. We know that Disney change acts and entertainment, but always a shame when it is a favourite!

they did close Backlot Tour, another huge crowd eater more than a year ago, probably it'll be 2 years before construction actually starts. I feel Muppets will be the last to go but after the Osborne lights are turned off I'm hoping for construction walls to start going up so all of this makes sense. But with Disney "sense" is not always the norm so who knows

Does anyone know if they have a cd and sell it in HS? Or anywhere else you can buy it?
