Mulch Sweat and Shears final performance Oct 10th

We are sad to announce that October 10th will be the last Mulch, Sweat, & Shears show. October 8th is the 11 year anniversary of the show.

I'd like to say I'm surprised, but unfortunately I'm not. Following in the proud tradition of Four For A Dollar, Off Kilter, Mo Rockin and others. Disney doesn't value these musical acts nearly as much as its guests do. Still, very sad.

Maybe they thought guests were getting confused and worn out on their DHS days with too many things to do.

Well... the first thing anyone does before remodeling is empty the room. You take everything off the walls, remove the fixtures, haul out the furniture. And there's few remodeling projects bigger than the one Disney is beginning in Hollywood Studios.

I'm sorry to see MS&S go, because I always enjoyed them. I've been downright misty eyed over the loss of the Osborne Lights. But I'm still excited to see what the future brings for this park.

This park is going to be a sad shell for many years. Looks like we'll be replacing our DHS days on our trips with USO/IOA days.

I thought they could move them to the center of the park, where the stage is set up, they have played there before with the truck and on the stage.

they already are, yes but they play from their truck, and they've done that before.

Yes, but it's been made a tier 1 FP selection now.

Awww. I didn't know anything about MS&S when we went to DHS, and we were walking around and they just sort of showed up and dragged my daughter into their show and the photopass photog got amazing pictures and it was just this amazing spur of the moment memory.

Heh .. that room was a lifesaver on my last trip two weeks ago. On a hot afternoon it seemed like not many people knew about it and I was able to quietly nap my tired out 3 year old in there for 90 minutes! Every one of the parks should have a quiet/AC room like that (if they don't already).

I figured with everything else closing we could finally get to see MS&S, so much for that. Very slim pickins at DHS now, but we will still go, because we do enjoy some of the remaining things and now we should have no trouble fitting it all in at a VERY leisurely pace.

But don't forget that after you take everything down you then charge $100 for people to come see your empty space!

Well this is the first cut......a thank you........at DHS recently that really upsets me personally.

Always loved seeing MS&S perform with a beverage from High Octane during the afternoon and they could really play! SW land better be really good........(I know it will be, but still...)
