We used to walk to Wildernesslodge from the fort, but I think thave closed the foot path is that correct?
can you get the ferry to the Lodge?

The foot path was closed for the construction of what was going to be a DVC but is now just a big ole eyesore on the banks of the lake. There is a bus you can take to the Wilderness. Last weekend, we took the Magic Kingdom boat over and then did a monorail resort tour. You can get refills at any resort that has a quick service. If your grandsons like any sports, it's free to rent the sports equipment at the Bike Barn.
