Muddy Buddy Training!

Are you guys both staying at Kidani? We are thinking of switching to AKV for that Friday as well. I think we would stay at Jambo House though. Where do you guys plan on hanging out at? Victoria falls? New Kidani pool? I know nobody has experienced it yet but do you think it would be very inconvenient to hang out together if we were staying in separate buildings? Just thinking out loud.

I'm planning on any hangout time to be at the new Kidani water area. Since we have young kids I think they will enjoy that the most. We are planning on Downtown Disney and maybe Disney Quest on Friday, but we'll see how it goes and we might just hang at the hotel instead. Not know what the pool/water play area looks like leaves it a bit up in the air.

When are you getting in on Friday Don?

True Dat! I'm back after a little more than a mile. Ya know what I"m learning; especially at my age  Stretching before and after a run is key.

Tru Tru Aaron, I'm horrible at stretching, but I get back spasms if I don't.

If you keep up with the cardio you'll drop us out of BEAST division! :scared1:

If I get close I can put it back on in a few days :) 190 is pretty skinny for me, I doubt I'll go lower than that.

I've been hitting it real hard lately. I've regained almost all of my strength since my shoulder reconstruction. My weight is currently around 208. I do a lot of cardio but I also lift pretty heavy so I tend to keep a bit of weight on. I shouldn't weigh less than 205 by the time the race gets here. Think you can swing 195?

Well good news/bad news on that front. 195 shouldn't be too difficult for me to maintain. I threw out my back today (back spasms) but it doesn't usually keep me down for more than a day or two. Guess I've been pushing too hard the last week or so. I'll be doing a fair amount of lifting so I should be able to stay in the 195-200 range.

Take care of that back!! Stay hydrated and stretch! Motrin is your friend, use it. I WILL carry you over the finish line if I have to!!! Take a couple of days off to rest then go easy with it. Sergeants orders!! pirate:

Yea, I've been lifting for some time. I started about a year ago when I decided to REALLY lose weight. Having muscle really helped me lose weight. I'm not huge by any means, but I have gotten stronger for sure.

The back in hanging in there, I'll be icing it all night and I should be back to normal by Tues.
