Mt. Everest-Animal Kingdom

Hi Everyone---does anybody have any information/photos on the new attraction at Animal Kingdom-Mt. Everest and it's progress?-we are going in September and we're hoping (I know they're saying "maybe" sometime in the Fall of '05) that it'll be open----it would be AWESOME if it wasn't open-open, but DVC Members had the chance to take it in first!

I think it is supposed to open in Spring 2006.....Given the current state of construction, I cannot see how it will be open in September this year

Cool-we, especially the DH, DD and friend, are looking forward to it's opening! I on the other hand--well, let's just say that I am a little apprehensive! Last trip, I was determined to "not be left behind".....anybody out there know that feeling....you're the "stuff holder" while everybody else forges ahead and takes in the stuff that keeps you sitting on the bench---last year, I got up enough courage to try Space Mtn, AWESOME--then it was the Rocking Roller Coaster-mulitiple times---gosh, I was hooked! Still can't get my nerve up to get back on Mission Space, I am working on it though---the DH, DD and friend LOVE IT! I am the odd man out!

Its suppose to open in Spring 06. I heard from senior management that its ahead of schdule. I have some pictures on my sites photo gallery. Go to the link in my signature and then go to the photo gallery. I cant wait until it opens

It's a very unique roller coaster! My DH, DD and friend are REAL excited about it! Looks like it will be fun.....I think.

Unique roller coaster that goes backwards while you are being chased by the abominable snowman! I bleive it goes forward for a good protion of the ride, and then starts going backwards!!! Saw it on the travel channel yesterday!
