We have flown AirTran the past few years to Disney. Now when I search there are no direct flights. Anyone found any direct ones? Or is this a casualty of the Southwest merger?

I am guessing a casualty of the merger...... I know our last trip on Airtran we had to connect in Atlanta or Milwaukee... we chose MKE...... I am going to miss Airtran here in MN as they offered some nice prices.... I have only flown SW once as the prices just don't seem to be that good....... I flew them home from PHX last spring break as they were about the same as the other airlines, so I saved some money on checked bags....

yes it is seasonal, and usually only 1 per day. I have gotten both nonstops on airtran and it worked out great for the price that was december 2010...good luck!
Southwest usually shys away from other major airline's hubs. MSP has Delta. Business travelers usually favor the legacy airline because of the elite benefits (first class). But they are giving Atlanta a try.
