We are checking in 8/18 and our first park day will be 8/19. Looking for opinions on what day everyone would choose to see MSEP? Saturday 8/19 or Sunday 8/20?? I'm thinking Saturday so just in case for whatever reason if we can't we still have Sunday. But thinking of crowds with Saturday being busier but then again Sunday may be just as busy since it's the last one. Does MSEP usually run once or twice a night?

It typically runs twice. But the 20th is the final day, so I'd do the 19th, with a dining plan, and avoid DL or at least the route and TL on the 20th.

Thanks! Sorry still new to Disneyland what is TL? Only thing that comes to mind is Typhoon Lagoon at the world lol

Tomorrowland. Basically on the final night of MSEP, I would avoid Main St, the hub and the entire east side of the park. If F! is back, the west side won't be too fun either.

Agree with PP - would expect the last night of MSEP to be really crowded.

It usually runs twice a night. Evening parade is sooooo much lighter in terms of crowds. Like show up 15 min before and get a decent spot (even if standing). I would recommend the Saturday late parade. Saturday's are usually better than Sunday's because more APs are blocked out.

Are there any pins? I heard they sold out the first day of issue and haven't been restocked? What type of MSEP merchandise is available? Id like to order something since I won't get to see it.

There's light up ears. There were shirts at one point. There's a shirt on the Disney Store site.

If Disney merchandise services doesn't have anything you can try contacting a DL personal shopper to see if they know of anything in stock. Originally the parade was going to end in June, they weren't planning on having merchandise through August.
