I was planning on not sitting anywhere near mainstreet/the hub for the MSEP. However, we will be leaving the park as soon as the parade is over and NOT staying for Wishes. Since we want to leave right after the parade, which would be the best place for viewing???? If we stay away from Mainstreet, will we be able to get threw the craowds in the street to leave?

Honestly, if you want to leave right after the parade, the best place to watch from would be in front of the train station so that you can basically just turn around and leave. If you watch it from Frontierland, you'll be surrounded by the crowds who will be heading towards Main Street once it's over to either find a spot for Wishes or to leave the park like you.

We did exactly that tonight. We stood on the platform at the train station, which is the end the 7:00 parade started from. Its a great spot because you can see it as it enters Main Street, circles around in front if you, and then as it heads up Main Street. we scooted down the stairs as soon as the last float cleared the train station, and got right on the monorail.

It was a great view, and much easier than fighting the crowds walking back down main street.

I was actually talking about ground level in front of the train station. The upper level is a great view, but didn't you have to stake it out way in advance?
