Has anyone tried both? I was thinking of using FP+ for this. We were in the wheelchair section for one of the parades a few years ago, and we were packed in like sardines. Even though DD was in a wheelchair, they had her seated behind a row of people who were standing and she couldn't see anything. Is the FP+ section any better?

I have had better luck in the wheelchair areas that FP sections but they do fill up early. FP areas that I have seen for parades are standing areas not seating. both areas are packed in, in fact one MK parade area would not let both my husband and 4 year old grandson in with me because of numbers of people. it was only one person plus the wheelchair person

I used FP+ for MSEP with a wheelchair. I didn't attempt the wheelchair section but when I was approaching the FP+ area around 10 minutes before MSEP was scheduled to start the wheelchair area was jam packed full but we were right up at the curb with room to breathe in the FP+ area. Being jammed in is another issue for us due to an autistic teen so we've never attempted the wheelchair areas for parades because they're just too tightly packed. If we ever want to see MSEP again we'll definitely use FP+.

Thank you, this is helpful. Are you directed to a particular spot in the FP+ section? We have a party of six, which is another reason why we can't do the wheelchair section this time.

We just lined up at the rope right beside the people before us. It's 100% accessible in the area so you just park yourself next the previous person just like anybody without a wheelchair. If you're going during a peak time then I would suggest getting there earlier than I did. We were there during one of the slowest times of the year and on a day where MK was highly recommended by easywdw so getting there 10 minutes before the parade was enough to get us a spot right up at the rope. During a busier time of the year and/or on a non-recommended day I would get there earlier to ensure a spot right up to the rope. I think half an hour is likely enough but others with more experience during busy times would know better.
