MSEP Ending...Again?

I keep getting emails from different places telling me to visit WDW because the MSEP is going away... Last chance to see it, etc.

But, didn't it go away once before?

Of course, I remember loving it as a child on many trips and then it went away for Spectromagic or something like that?

Then I remember WDW making a big deal about it's return.

I don't remember when it first went away and when it came back to WDW...but, is this not the same thing?

I haven't really read up on it, but I'm assuming they are just putting the floats away in storage for now and, if there is a big demand like before, they'll eventually return.

It's moving to Disneyland, so it's actually moving across the country. There's no word of it coming back to WDW.
It did leave and Spectromagic did replace it. Right now there's no announced replacement parade.

 

[Accident]

The history of the parade is someone from disneyland visiting saw the electric water pagent and wanted their own version so they make the parade since they don't have the water like WDW has. Time to time WDW has borrowed the parade for a limited engagement but this last time it just never really left until now..

to be honest, disney has much better light parades than this one so I hope it doesn't return and those come over (or they make a third paint the night) that can live at WDW. WDW is the place with space so storing things tends to happen in florida.

It is traveling across country to DL for a short stint and then it will be done. (So Disney says). There are no announced replacements in WDW at this time. However, I strongly feel as if something will debut next summer.

I gotta say that will all my complaining about it clogging the exit routes I will miss it and will catch it one last time during our trip in a week.
