Does Blue Bayou dining package give you a reasonable chance of seeing the electric parade if you're short? My kids are too heavy for me to lift and husband doesn't have the arm range of motion.

Oh, one other question...is the Darth Vader Visa Card experience cool enough to warrant hassle of a new credit card?

Main Street Electrical Parade doesn't come back till I think January 20th and I haven't seen anything about a dining package for it yet. But, Disneyland is really big on the dining packages at the moment so they will probably be doing it.

I have the Disney Visa card, and all you get at the park is a photo op, it's not really an "experience". Sometimes it's Vadar, another time I went it was Chewy. You take your picture like any other character photo op and then you get to print out a small copy for free at the photo place. If you don't already have the card I wouldn't put a notch on your credit just for a photo op. These characters are not exclusive to the Disney Visa Card line either, anyone can meet any of these characters at different points during the day in the other lines too. They will have a schedule posted.

Dining Packages for MSEP are up on the Disneyland website. Looks the same as the ones for PTN- options at BB and Aladdin's Oasis so my guess is they'll do the same viewing areas etc. There's photos of those in the PTN Dining Packages thread. I haven't done this yet but am considering doing Aladdin for PTN next week.

I'm wondering how crowded MSEP is going to be. I've sat in the Aladdin area for PtN and we never had a problem with my little ones seeing (they're 2 and 6). But, at least back before reserved/preferred seating was a thing, MSEP was pretty easy to see from anywhere on the parade route as long as you were either curbside or in the row right behind the curb standing. MSEP isn't as flashy as PtN, so it won't be as easy to see, but for what it is, everyone should be able to see it just fine.
