Herrow! Question. I have a FP for Wishes in September. I don't have one for the parade but I definitely want to see it up close with my 2 year old and husband. I thought about watching it from Frontierland so it's not so crowded (only one parade that night). Will we have enough time to get to the FP area from there? Or just stick it out and find somewhere on Main Street early?

Edited: MSEP is at 8 and Wishes is at 9.

You should be fine and have plenty of time.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with that assessment.

Why?
Because we are not actually dealing with two isolated times of 8PM and 9PM.

MSEP just STARTS (at Main Street's Town Square) at 8PM.
But, the head of MSEP won't even REACH Frontierland until 8:20, at earliest, and close to 8:30 at the latest (depending on how deep in Frontierland you are standing.)
THEN, the END of MSEP won't come by until 15 minutes after the time it first arrived.
(So, we'll say 8:30-8:40PM.)

Now, the spectacular (some say better than Wishes) show, which is projected on the front of the Castle, starts at 8:45. That will mean that the Hub will be JAMMED with other guests by, say 8:35, at least.

Sorry, but the timing doesn't work.

Well..darn. No big deal. We will just get a spot on Main Street. It's the day after Labor Day so it shouldn't be too bad. Thank you!

Is the new FP area for Wishes really "JAMED"? I have never heard that assessment before but I also haven't been since construction.

Also, I would try to watch the parade by Sleepy Hollow if you are thinking somewhere besides Main Street.

Well, yes, that HAS been the assessment on some nights, BUT, the actual FP+ areas have more recently been more comfortable.

However, my assessment of the Hub being jammed was in reference to the REST of the Hub area
and not specifically the Wishes FP+ areas.
But understand that if the rest of the Hub is filled with guests, the ability to GET TO the FP+ areas in a matter of just a few minutes
will be severely impaired.

Better. You'd be much closer to the Wishes areas and the end of the parade would reach there much earlier than in Frontierland.

Of course, by being that much closer to the Hub, you'd likely need to grab your viewing spot much earlier in the evening compared to one in Frontierland.

Very good. I think we just had different interpretations of the OP. I was thinking Sleepy Hollow and space in the Wishes FP area. I was not full accounting for getting through a large crowd. If you think your day will be really busy, (check a crowd calendar) you might want to stay close but I still think you could do both.

Do all parades run from the front of the park to the back?

Nope.

Disney's (MS) Electrical Parade starts near the Firehouse and exits near Splash Mtn.

The 3 O'Clock Parade (Festival of Fantasy) and both the MVMCP and MNSSHP parades start near Spalsh Mtn. and exit near the Firehouse.

Just to keep things as clear as possible, Sleepy Hollow is not in Frontierland.
It is in Liberty Square.

Sleepy Hollow it is then. Thank you both!

I've actually enjoyed watching MSEP from the Wishes FP+ viewing area. You don't see what's on the street level for the parade, but you see all the floats. It's so lovely to hang out on the hub grass and watch the parade float by.

That's what I would do since I've seen it so many times that I wouldn't care about being up close or not but it's my husband's first trip. So I want to make sure he sees everything and I know my son will want to be right there in the action lol.

Yup.
MSEP is actually designed to be seen from the curb. That's why there are so many entrants that are small and "mobile."
Guest interaction is a principle part of the show.
And, fully half of the"scene-specific" audio comes directly from the floats on the street.
