Man, Disney's site really does not give very good information... can someone tell me what the route is for the Electrical parade? Where does it start? Just because we'd like to see it and then head over to Disneyland for the last hour. How crowded is it on weekends? (we're going this weekend) Do we need to line up like an hour before or can we just go anytime and get a good seat? Thanks guys. I know I keep asking questions... but I'll be gone in three days and then you won't have to deal with me anymore. ;-)

According to the Unofficial Guide 2003, it runs from a gate to the left of the Pizza Oom Mow Mow restaurant at Paradise Pier, through The Bay area, around the Bug's Life side of Grizzly Peak, and on to Sunshine Plaza, where it takes a lap around the fountain and the disappears backstage near the ABC Soap Opera Bistro.

On days of heavy attendance, try to score a viewing spot on the elevated courtyard or steps of the Golden Vine Winery.

jimmiej got the parade route right although evertime I've seen it, the parade went from the front of the park to the back. What I found is that you can still get good seats 30 -45 mins. before the start of the parade if you walk towards the Bay area/Paradise Pier.

If you want to see the fireworks at Disneyland right afterwards, you'll probably want to be at the front of the park around Sunshine plaza which fills up first. For a spot there, you'll definitely need to get there at least an hour in advance, maybe even more. If you ask at the information booth at the front of the park, they can give you a pretty good idea how much in advance you'll need to be there to get a seat around the plaza.
