MS Wait Times (ugh!)

Before the switch to a 7 day a week schedule, I rarely had long wait times. Msot of the time, my call was answered within 3 minutes. Every single time I have called over the past 2 weeks, no matter what day or what time of day,the waits are 15-20 minutes minimum. What is going on? Did they not increase staff when they went to 7 days a week and just spread them thinner so there are fewer people working on any given shift? So frustrating!
 
I've actually found it to be the opposite :upsidedow My only complaint is that I haven't had much time to listen to the music :goodvibes
 
Well, I call at 8am CST and get answered immediately...as in less than one minute. So I haven't had that problem.
 
I call about 9AM EST and it's been about a 2-minute wait at most... Good luck!
 

i havent had any trouble i called this morning and waited for only 30 seconds or less
 
I have had little or no wait at MS after the rush for 11 month booking for the xmas holiday(and even then we had 10 minute wait once). It really must depend on when you call. Sat. have been great,

I called Monday at about 3:30 and my call was answered as soon as I got through the prompts. I don't recall EVER waiting more than about 5 minutes.
 
I noticed about 1 or 2 ago when I was calling them my wait was always over 15 mins. I couldn't understand why. Then I decied to call on a Thrusday night late, I thought I would get through I didn't know they went to 7 days until then. So yes I did have problems getting through about 2 weeks ago. I will be calling them in the next day or 2 because I still haven't received my confirmation that I booked about a month ago. I hope the wait still isn't that long.
 
We just got off the phone with a DVC CM and they said that things have gotten out of control over there.

People calling left and right booking like crazy. DVC members using the DDP and booking up AKL in a heartbeat.

She said she had no information yet confirming when Kidani would be opened or available for booking but the tentative date of completion was still was Spring 2009. She said as soon as they get that info it would be available for booking.

Also a side note - there would be no concierge level rooms in Kidani, only in Jamba House.

Last Saturday I called around 10:00 a,m, central time, and my wait was quoted as 30 minutes:scared1: The actual wait time was about 20! While it was nice hearing the music, every time the message about going to DVC.com came on, I got excited thinking my call was finally answered!!!
 
I forgot to mention we had called back late last Sunday night to ask a few questions and we were on hold for almost 30 minutes then 9:30 came around and we were bounced to a message saying they were now closed.

Do you believe that? We complained today when we called back and she explained about the whole overwhelming backup thing.

It oculd be that since they have gone to seven days a week open they have had to adjust schedules to cover those extra shifts, so they may have shuffled the coverage, putting less people on for times they think calls will be lower. They may have the same size crew having to cover 2 addtional days.
 
I have experienced much longer wait times then in the past. These are often times when I thought they would not be busy - mid afternoon, after the holiday rush. :confused3 If they were planning to make this change they should have had the foresight to train more CMs. IMHO. DVC's costumer service/satisfaction has been decreasing of late.
 
I called today at 12:03 and got right through after the prompts. I was on my cell and expected to have to use a few of my minutes for wait time, but was pleasantly surprised.

My waits have been 15-30 min every time I have called. I have dreaded making the call. I need to call now. I will call tomorrow, I will post and let you know.
 
I haven't called MS since they expanded the hours to 7 days. What are their new hours?

I just made my call that I was suppose to have made yesterday. I used the 407 number, It went right through. That's a first for me! :banana:
