MS phone survey

Hi everyone! Well, I just made my last phone call to MS this a.m. I got our ressies for VWL 12/18-12/26!!! I know it will be a mad house, but we plan on having a great time anyway :earsboy: Yes, I did have to give the last 4 digits of my SS#, along with verify my address, on every call! On the first call I had to give all of our names and the kids ages. I got through quickly each day, Monday was really the only wait (about 5 minutes on hold.) Today I was told I was selected for a phone survey. After talking with MS I answered a few questions about their customer service. They also asked if I would like to be able to book online. The only requests I made were 2 bedroom and non- smoking. I guess we will just get whatever location we get. Also, just got a call from DVC customer service asking if I got my new cards from the contract we bought in October....YES, I already schedules a trip :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: I'm getting so excited!!! Time to get a new countdown....Lacee
 
I've taken that survey a couple times. I voted for the online ressie option but I wish I were given the opportunity to explain that I only want online booking if I'm able to know immediately if the ressie is booked......not wait a day or two for an e-mail that says yes or no.
 
internet ressie are coming sonn according to management............it is far more effiecent and less costly to implement..............Disney may have it ready to go by Dec 2005...........keep the ears open for this news...........

I feel the same way....I don't want to wait to find out. I can't imagine why this technology should take so long to implement! It seems to me it would save them LOTS of money!
 

I agree about needing immediate confirmation for online ressies. I'm not going to take that kind of chance if I don't get confirmation right away. They are able to set up their reservations system for regular rooms this way, so I see no reason it should be a problem for DVC.

This is the main reason I will not email for reservations. The couple of times I have emailed MS for things it takes too long to get a response.

Thanks for doing the survey. No matter how hard I try I can never remember to stay on the line! Last time I put a software stickie on my computer screen telling my in large caps not to hang up, and I still hung up!
 
I've taken the survey a couple of times and always answer that I do not want on-line booking because I'm less than impressed with the time it takes MS to get back to me whenever I've e-mailed them. Also the Web site fiasco with the DVC AP application does not inspire confidence. I need to have a name to go along with my notes when I communicate with MS. I'm not computer phobic I do a lot of on-line business but I'm not ready to book my vacation with MS on-line.
