MS listed a request that I did not ask for!

Does this happen often? I asked for studio, nonsmoking at Boardwalk. Preferred view was all that was available (Pool/garden view). I did not request anything else as I have never stayed at Boardwalk and did not really know anything about the layout.

My confirmation says: studio, nonsmoking, top floor.

I'm thinking there is a possibility this may give me a fireworks view? :confused3

How often does member services do this and what have you had added onto your reservation without asking? :)

Have you EVER asked for a top floor on a reservation? If so, it probably carried over since they do seem to keep these in their computers based on things written on this board and based on the way some of my reservation conversations have gone with MS.

There might be a fireworks view from Fantasmic from the preferred pool/garden but not Illuminations.

It's possible the cm miskeyed something and added top floor.

No Doctor P, that would make sense, but I have never made any request except nonsmoking. I suppose they thought I would enjoy the view?

ETA: I have two very small children. If there is nothing special about the top floor, perhaps I should call to have it removed. Some other location may be more convenient. How many floors are there at Boardwalk anyway?

I called on Jan 06, 2006 for a reservation from 02/02/06 to 02/05/06 at Boardwalk for a Standard View Studio, my request was "Nonsmoking, Top Floor". I have not received my confirmation yet, I hope mine has the right information. I wonder if we talked to the same person at DVC ?

If it is bugging you call MS and have it removed. :wizard:

I wouldn't worry. You may not get it anyways. You can always tell them at check-in that you would prefer not to be on the top floor. I'm sure they will find others who would like to be.
