Ms couldn't link my reservations. :(

Have 2days at OKW and 2 days at ssr in same category and ms said they could not link them right now and call back when it is not so busy because they have to call another department. This is a first! It is for the first 4 days of January, and I know things are booked up. Well, I guess I will call back later.
 
Why are you trying to link the two reservations? Unless I misunderstand what you are trying to do, there is nothing to be gained by trying to link your SSR reservation to your OKW reservation.

Normally, linking two reservations makes sense when you have separate reservations for the same type of accommodation at the same resort. For example, let's say you booked three nights in an SSR studio with your own points, and then booked two more nights using rented points. You can link the two reservations so that you can spend all five nights in the same villa.

Since you have reservations at two different resorts, there is no disadvantage if you have two different confirmation numbers. You'll have to check into the second resort.

Or am I missing something?

Why don't you email your request to them and let them do it when they have time- it would make it easier on everyone and you have no hold time.
 
Here today with a linked reservation and having tons of trouble. Our bands quit working, our room charges were charged to our credit card on file (I have rewards dollars to use), and now we've been charged for dining reservations that we were there for today. We've been to the front desk multiple times bc our bands and cards keep getting turned off so we can't get into our room. I'm seriously ready to scream. Now for some reason, the back room is rebooking our second half of the stay, and my points are in holding. I'm hoping my FP+ doesn't disappear.

Getting ready to head down for my fifth visit to the front desk in a few minutes. <sigh>
 
Why don't you email your request to them and let them do it when they have time- it would make it easier on everyone and you have no hold time.

I was thinking the same thing. Just use the Contact Us on the member website and send them the request. Put all the reservations numbers in including date, location, etc. And ask them to link your reservations at OKW so you don't have to move and do the same with SSR. They will send you an email back when it is done.

Ugh. We had problems in February with our RFID KTTWs not working to open the door. And we just barely got it to charge to the room.

Call Disney Dining about the no-show charges. They are probably the best to take care of it.

Ugh at the rebooking; SSR felt the need to do that back in February when DH had two hours at the desk trying to work out one problem and finding another. I decided to ignore my DVC member page for about a week so I didn't have to see the mess made in the account. It all worked out, though.
 
Oh, wow, katieandemismom, that is AWFUL! Do they not give keys to the world cards? I hope it all works out for you! I am all set with the linked reservations now (or so I think...) the cm did say here was so little availability that she had to cancel a day in each reservation before she could link them. That caused my heart to jump, but I had to trust she knew what she was doing. Emailing was going to be my next resort, but I really did want to customize the magic bands in time. We're 33 days away.
 
The KTTW didn't work either. We spent another 20 min getting it all ironed out before dinner. Dh came back to the room early and was locked out again. He was quite unhappy to put it nicely. If it happens again, I will be calling Member Services to at least discuss the problem.
 
You can also try the live chat option.

That probably won't work. All they seem to be able to do on the chat is to direct you where to look or who to call to get answers to questions.

Much better to email them, or call, if you can spare the time.
