MS can't combine requests? Anyone ever hear this?

I know in reservations past, I have been able to say things like "golf course view, as high as possible" or "upper floor, near elevator". And when I get my confirmation, they are always on one line.

So yesterday I call MS because I had Pool View on our BCV ressie and just wanted to say "Pool View, as low as possible."

The rep said, no, she can't combine requests that it would have to be on a separate line. So I just left it as is, called back today to get someone else, and she did it no problem.

Just wondering if anyone has ever had a similar experience.

Does it matter if it is on one line opposed to 2 lines??? It is still 2 requests.

From my understanding, things are getting a little tough (maybe wrong wording) about getting particular requests. I also make a few requests.....upper floor close to HH at OKW. I guess I will find out when I check in on Sunday!!

Unless they switch back to the old way af assigning rooms before we arrive, why make any request?

In the new system, you tell the cm when you arrive what your request is. If anything is available you get it (unless it is blocked for large group or handycap). They may only offer you rooms that are already clean.
