Online booking may be the 3 month deal the CM mentioned. To me the "gradual" rollout sounds more like CM's having to manually check every online reservation for accuracy than a concern about system capacity...
Unless the Dis is having timestamp issues, those prior posts about three months are a year old. That could well be. They do so every January. We're at the 11 month window for Christmas and 7 months from late summer vacation.
As for capacity, think about it... System load is currently governed by the two or three hundred CMs in the call center, hence the difficulty getting one on the phone as this thread is actually about.
Turn loose a couple hundred thousand members online doing the same thing and it's pretty likely we'll crash it. I expect it. Many who don't even need to book will go on to play and learn it.
As for the theory about checking accuracy... Would it make any sense not to? it's easier to fix 100 reservations than 5,000.
No, she didnt mention what dates were full, just that we got the last 2 bedroom theme park view. She did say that there were some Lake view room available as well. I was on a mission so didnt ask. We are arriving Dec 6 thru dec 11.
