It's possible that you are the one who steered me over to Funbeaches.
And on the note of "small world", I was sitting in the pool at the Dayton House with the kids when I noticed someone sitting up on the chairs looked familiar. It was Parrothead (Jeff) whom I took the recommendation of the Dayton House from. Saw him later on the beach and introduced and chatted for a bit.
Seems everywhere I go it's a small world. I remember sitting in traffic as a kid in Ocean City and Dad says, "look at that guy who just walked behind the car." It was our neighbor who's yard bordered the back of our yard.
Walking down Ocean Blvd in Myrtle when I was 15 years old I run right into Dave, a kid my age that lived right down the road. We got together to run around Myrtle and we run into Curt, another good friend from the other side of town. Had a blast that vacation.
The next year my brother and I met 2 sisters on the beach, both 1 year of age from each of us, unfortunately as they were putting their toes in the sand for the last time before going home. They were from the town half an hour from us. Gave them a call when we got home.
I've told this one on the board here. I drive 1100 miles in 2 days to get away from the day to day stress of work. I arrive at Pop Century and the very first thing I see is a giant pile of foam "
Lego" blocks. "Lego" in quotes because they aren't Lego brand but tells you what they pretty much are. I made the materials they were molded from. It was from the first production trial run which I can tell from the multi-colored ones. So the very first thing I see driving 1100 miles away from work for stress relief is work!
