Hi! I want to do a combined trip in October. We would leave on October 12th and return home on the 21st. For the first time, I am going to drive with a stop in Mrytle Beach on the way down. I'm thinking of leaving on Friday morning from Lexington, KY and making it to Mrytle Beach in one day. Stay there Friday and perhaps Saturday night.
Can anyone recommend a beach-front hotel that is reasonable and newer?
How is the weather there in October?
Are a lot of the activities/restaurants closed during that time?
Anyone know of handicapped accessible beach access since my DH is paraplegic?
I am then thinking leave on Sunday morning and drive to Disney. I want to rent points to stay at BLT. We would stay from Sunday and check out the following Saturday and drive back part way on Sat. and continue on on Sunday.
Can anyone recommend a place to stop on the way back?
Has anyone had any success with renting points for BLT? I keep trying on the DVC Rent/Trade board with no success.
We will do the Deluxe Dining, BBB, and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.
Other than that we don't spend money on souvineers or other activities. We have more than enough food credits for snacks as well. We will take our costume for BBB and accessories.
